Match Report: Pompey 1 - 2 Charlton

Well Well Well, Charlton back up to second, and having a laugh! My second away game of the season took me to Pompey, down on the lovely South Coast, at lovely Fratton Park with the lovely uncovered stand and the lovely British weather looking like it would hammer it down upon us. But know, this was Charlton's day.
Curbishley made a few changes to the starting team, and we played atrociously in the first half. Not long before Silva got a ball at the edge of the area and Pompey were one nil up.
The rest of the half was despicable and the break was welcomed.
In the second we seemed to pull our socks up and get into the game. It was a little while when our pressure was rewarded, when Ambrose had a through pass from Murphy to his feet he had no choice but to rifle it into the back of the net. Our fans went mental! We were back in the game.
We were all over them in the second half, and then finaly the breakthrough, Rommedahl made himself some space to the right of their box, it seemed to narrow for him to get a shot him, but not in his head, he shot the ball and it went in the top left hand corner of the net! GET IN!
An amazing day and an amazing match, back up to 2nd and our away record still 100%
Man Of The Match:Darren Ambrose
