A match where Rooney was sent off by the Argentinian referee, we had some chances to win in normal and extra time and Portugal were a weaker side, we did not take our chances.
It went to penalties, the whole nation had their heads in their hands, Lampard missed. Then Portugal scored, Hargreaves scored, Portugal missed (we could go ahead), Gerrard missed, Portugal scored, Carragher missed, and that wanker Cristiano Ronaldo was the person who sent the neighbours of Spain through to the Semi Finals.
